You are absolutely right that interviewing (or just talking) is critical to understand user needs and ensure that when you start work on something that you are creating something that really meets their needs.<br /><br />I think the most critical thing when talking with customers/clients, and I say talking because the term "interview" can sound intimidating, is to establish a rapport with the person you are talking to. This can be really challenging, and sometimes not even really possible; but I think the key thing is to be really interested in what the other person has to say, to be relaxed, and to be a good listener.<br /><br />On a different note entirely I know English is your second language and overall you are doing very well, but there are a number of spelling and grammatical mistakes in your post.
